The Santa Claus Show
BOOK TICKETS

The Santa Claus Show is an enchanting tale about a young girl, Kelly who writes to Santa asking for ALL the things she wants. This beautiful story follows Kelly to the North Pole where she gets to meet Santa and many of his friends and learn the true meaning of Christmas.

Celebrating their 28th anniversary (1991 – 2019), Tim Bray Theatre Company is happy to share this special show with your family and give you an unforgettable ride to the North Pole. This year sees its 17th season and is now New Zealand’s longest-running and most popular Christmas play.

Tim Raby, who first played Santa Claus’ ‘stunt double’ in the very first production in 1991, returns to the show in 2019 and this marks his 14th appearance as the character. Audiences agree he makes the quintessential Santa!

Benny Joy Smith (We’re Going on a Bear Hunt) returns to Tim Bray Theatre Company as Kelly. Holly Stokes joins the company as Alana and Dylan Underwood returns as the ever-lovable Elfie and Calum Hughes (We’re Going on a Bear Hunt) appears as Rudolph. Children and teenagers from Tim Bray Youth Theatre classes were cast in the four remaining roles, including Santa’s wee elf helpers Twitty and Twiddly.

This season, Tim Bray Theatre Company are introducing a new Sensory Relaxed Performance.  This performance is ideal for those with sensory, movement, communication, and learning needs, enabling neurodiverse children, adults and their family to enjoy a comfortable theatre experience.
